Education

Education is a self-enlightening process and a very important component in the human society. Mr Nardo and his team believe that education is a key factor for a successful professional life and optimal quality of life. Good education and knowledge translates to great understanding of differences and ability to make your own choices.

As one of the UK leading consultants gynaecologists Mr Nardo organises regular national and international scientific meetings on different topics related to general gynaecology, reproductive endocrinology, laparoscopic surgery, gynaecological ultrasound, endometriosis, infertility and assisted conception. He has organised more than 45 meetings both in the UK and abroad for gynaecologists, embryologists, fertility physicians, general practitioners, specialist nurses and patients.

Mr Nardo, who has recently established the most comprehensive and innovative independent sector women's health service in the North West of England, accepts applications from overseas fellows who wish to undertake high level of training in reproductive medicine and surgery, especially all levels of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, gynaecological ultrasound, infertility management and IVF treatment. He is a BFS preceptor for the pelvic ultrasound, embryo transfer, assisted conception and management of the infertile couple modules. He is also an RCOG Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) in Subfertility and Reproductive Endocrinology trainer.
Registrations of interest and formal applications will have to be made in writing at least 12 months in advance and submitted together with a copy of the Curriculum Vitae and two references to Mr Nardo's academic PA Miss Annette Eckersley at education@gyne-health.co.uk. Suitable applicants will be asked to attend for a visit prior to the commencement of the honorary training fellowship. A training fee may apply. Successful applicants will have to be eligible for training visa permit and will have to comply with the policies in place for Good Clinical Practice.
